Overall it was very positive and a happy experience. I've not suffered any of the 'baby blues' whatsoever. Contractions were hard going but they were the worst bit and at the peak of the induction that was the only time I had a brief moment where I felt I couldn't continue. My birth partner stepped in at this point and reminded me of my anchor and helped me get past it as deep down he and I knew I had the strength of mind. My midwives were also fantastic and knew I was capable even though at times I didn't feel it. The induction was not what I wanted but I was still able to feel in control.
